The Red Theatre (红剧场)

Every month the school sponsors a free trip of the month for the exchange students. You have to put down a 100 kuai deposit but you get it back when you get on the bus on the way to the trip. This month's attraction of the month was to the Red Theatre to see the Legend of Kungfu.
It was geared towards foreigners, obviously, but I didn't expect it to also be in English. It was about this old master telling a little boy about his journey to being the master. There was dancing, and metal breaking and stick bending and nail laying. Pictures weren't allowed but i took this nifty video right at the beginning- sorry it's sideways. No one saw me (hehe). I also found bear!

每个月北师大请我们留学生去一个很好玩儿的地方. 这个月我们去北京的红剧场看一个功夫故事表演. 如果你要去你要交一百元的押金. 你坐上车的时候他们会换给你. 表演开始的时候我想不到故事是英语讲的, 所以因为不是地道的功夫我觉得不太好看. 不过值得去看红剧场的样子. 票也是免费的所以为什么不去呢?
